The design features colorful oriental designs.
The piece is hand-painted and then covered with three layers of lacquer. It is totally functional and waterproof and may be hand-washed. It also contains brass candle inserts to protect the wood from the candle wax.

In his Studio, located in Jerusalem, Emanuel designs various Judaica products.
The designs are based upon a fusion of traditional motifs and ancient Jewish manuscripts with modern and oriental art.
