Rabbi Matis Shulman, M.D., is a board certified general and addiction psychiatrist and received rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva University. He completed an addiction psychiatry research fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where he continues to work as a clinician researcher in the department of Substance Use Disorders. Dr. Shulman has authored over 40 academic articles and book chapters. He resides in New Jersey with his wife Dalia, their children, and various pets.
