Rabbi Ziemba was a chossid of the Gerrer Rebbe. At the Rebbe's request, Rabbi Ziemba became involved in communal affairs. He was one of the foremost spokesmen for Orthodox Jewry in Poland and active in the Agudas Yisroel.
He was gunned down by the Germans in the Warsaw Ghetto.
