Midrash Manicures combines Jewish education and creative products to make Judaism more meaningful to you. We launched an exclusive line of Hanukkah Nail Decals, which have been sold in Bloomingdale’s and Dylan’s Candy Bar. Since 2011 Midrash Manicures has inspired thousands of individuals in their journey toward innovative religious expression.  
Rabbi Yael Buechler, Founder of Midrash Manicures, is dedicated to finding new avenues for Jewish creative expression through nail art and modern Jewish accessories. Rabbi Buechler was covered by The New York Times for her creative take on Torah learning as well as for her innovative Hanukkah designs. Rabbi Buechler was featured by Refinery29 as one of eight modern Jewish American women in 2019. Her fashion accessories have been discussed by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Mayim Bialik. Rabbi Buechler is a writer and entrepreneur who contributes to Business Insider, JTA, Kveller, EJewishPhilanthropy, and The Jewish Week. The Los Angeles Times published her Op-Ed about the history of Hanukkah swag in America. Rabbi Buechler is the Lower School Rabbi and Outreach Coordinator at The Leffell School in Westchester, NY. Erica Shapiro, Midrash Manicures Graphic Designer, is an innovative artist, a driven New Yorker, and a proud Jew. Ever since the day she mastered the crayon, Erica Shapiro was destined to go into an artistic field. Erica received her BFA in Computer Art from The School Of Visual Arts in 2010. She is a an animator, designer, video editor, and producer with a multi-media background. Erica has been working on many of Midrash Manicures products!
