A Peaceful Home [Hardcover]
A man's guide to a loving relationship with his wife.
By: Rabbi Chayim Friedlander

Product Description
A Peaceful Home is a translation of the Hebrew book, Veyadata Ki Shalom Ohalecha.

Rabbi Chayim Friedlander zt"l, Menahel Ruchani of Ponovez Yeshiva some thirty-five years ago wrote this essay for young men approaching their marriage, coaching them in their new responsibilities and obligations to their wives to enable them to build their home in the way of Torah.

It was written to forestall problems common to today's generation, where everything moves quickly and people are accustomed to instant gratification and quick solutions. Thus, they are unable to struggle through a problem and achieve a satisfactory solution where both sides make concessions for the sake of their home. The essay educates the young man to become aware of his role in building the home, as well as his obligations to his wife and an understanding of a woman's nature and her aspirations.

Drawing upon letters to Chasanim written by the Chazon Ish and the Steipler, Rabbi Friedlander crafted a series of concise lessons with practical advice for someone who has previously focused essentially on his own needs, to evolve into someone whose focus is now to care for and concentrate on someone else. With this knowledge he will succeed in establishing a loving home where the emotional and physical needs of his wife are met - building a house that is peaceful and tranquil.
