The answers of the geniuses of Bavel have been printed over the last few decades from torn and blurred pages found in the Cairo Geniza, containing broken and missing teshuvos. The sefer of the Geonim HaRishonim brings hundreds of complete and detailed teshuvos to the geniuses of Bavel, as well as to the sages of Provence, from a manuscript in the Ginsburg collection in Moscow, which disappeared until recently.
The answers were carefully copied by Prof. Simcha Emanuel and attached to them detailed comments and a broad introduction.
The book was first published in 1995, and is now being published in an expanded edition, with hundreds of corrections and additions.
