Machine made tzitzis are as described. Because they are machine made there is no supervision to guarentee their Kashrut, therefore Hand made are more popular. Because the mitzvah is required for adults we don't recommend them for but because they are available on the market we offer them. For children on the other hand machine made are more popular because their mitzvah is for chinuch purposes. PLEASE NOTE : this is not intended to be a halachic ruling by no means. These are only the statistics on the way they are sold. If you are not sure on what to purchase please ask your local Rabbi. Cotton Tzitzis are soft comfortable garments and last long. Our suggestion as with all tzitzis is to wash them with a WashTzit bag. Sizes for children are generally half their ages. For example a child of 3-4 would wear a size 2 and a child of 7-8 would wear a size 4. Children's Tzitzis are available in round neck only.
