Every doorway in the home needs a Mezuzah, except for the bathroom doorwayand closets. Office doorways, garages, and attics also need Mezuzos. If you have a question about a particular doorway it is best to ask your local Rabbi to clarify exactly which locations need a Mezuzah. The Mezuzah is placed on the right doorpost at the bottom of the top 3rd. In other words - imagine spliting the doorpost in 3 and then put it on the bottom of the top part. |
