Seder Plates - Passover Plates

Imagine sitting at the table set with candles, wine, matzah and seder plate. The Passover seder plate, a special plate containing symbolic foods, hold the items to be used during pesach seder. A Passover plate is the center of attention during the seder and is used primarily during the first part of seder. The Passover plate is a large plate fixture that six symbolic item sits on top of each its own respective place. The symbolic items are discussed and analyzed during the seder. Children ask question about the custom of symbolic items. The seder plate sits on top of matzah holder used at the seder. Most seder plates do not come with the matzah holder. The matzah therefore sits on its own separate plate, box, holder or cover. The Seder is specifically designed to be conducted by a family at home, with or without guests. The Seder may also be conducted by any group of people, including synagogue members, hotel guests, singles, students and travelers. The Passover plate is carefully prepared with symbolic items and placed before the head of household, or the one who conduct the Passover seder and serve the food to each participants.
